Watching "Turn" to learn about American history is like watching "Married With Children" as  a primer on how to have a good marriage.

Watched it on DVD years ago.  Not sure how long that has been out, but it is great.

It appears to be on HBO2, specifically.  HBO is currently airing some documentary on gun-related deaths called "Requiem for the Dead..."

Gave up on season 2.  Was like watching paint dry.  Felt like the shows moved extremely slow.

Bought the DVD's a while back. I'm a bigger student of history than the old lady is. She and I loved the show, and she learned some stuff about him she never knew, like his defending the troops of the Boston Massacre.
