Just now on Fox & Friends.  Says it's his job to pay his bills.  Doesn't plan to accept freebies to cover his debts.

If this guy is really what he appears to be on TV, he's one hell of an average guy.

I haven't followed all of that, I haven't even seen a picture of that dude, but I just gained a whole bunch of respect for him.

they picked the wrong guy to fuck with. He is well spoken, very humble, and a proud American.

Every interview I've seen him do went well.

I think fucking with him is making the dems look really bad.

Joe need an offocial arfcom invitation

I still think he should at least get an anonymous envelope of cash for outing "The One" on tape

He did what the Clinton or GOP "intellectuals" have been unable to do.

You know what's sad?

At some point, people lost the idea of being "too proud to accept charity"... or it somehow became unfashionable.  At some point in the last 30-40 years, welfare lost its social stigma, and it became more acceptable to "get yours," milk the system, and "get all you can" rather than make your own way in the world.

That was a dark day when that societal shift in attitude took place.  Nice to see that Joe's from the old school.

The guy is real.  He really is a working stiff who would like to improve his lot in life.  He rightly sees the Obamassiah as a threat to that goal.

He and BHO's reaction have deeply hurt the Obamassiah's campaign.  That is why his personal PI firm, the MSM, plus his campaign staff are attacking Joe as hard as they can.

I'm sure Fox paid Joe to be on the Huckaby show. So I'd say he now has enough cash to pay his $1200 in back taxes and then some.

Damn, Good on Joe, He lives right around the corner (so to speak) about 4 or 5 min from me, I live in Toledo right on the border of Springfield Township/Holland area.

Makes me proud.

It's stupid to be "too proud to accept charity". Giving and receiving by fellow citizens is the soul of our nation. Yeah, it hurts to get help, but if it is from my fellows and not the .gov then it is for their benefit as well. If you are willing to help the least the recipient can do is receive the gift. Keep it local, pay it forward. I think the pride thing helped kill private charity.

I might agree with you up to a point... if your children are starving and suffering because you're too proud, and legitimately cannot provide for them (physically disabled, etc) then that's a problem.  If, however, the sting of having to accept charity is a motivator for somebody to bust their hump and succeed, then it becomes a positive thing.

I'm talking about the mooch mentality.  It has become a badge of honor in certain circles to defraud the system, milk it for whatever you can, and be proud of your sloth and thinly-disguised theft.  That's so pathological that I can hardly wrap my mind around it... and it can only exist so long as we enable it as a society.

A hungry man doesn't mind working... and a man with a little pride in himself will rankle at having to accept welfare, and work hard to get himself out if it.

It's all about motivation, capice?

If it were true charity, he would never know where it came from or who to try to give it back to.

If the Dems have their way, the Joes among us will not have guns when the time comes to defend our selves.

+ fucking 1

I remember when they used to call it "goin' on the county" and it was shameful.  To drink the worksweat off another man's brow was considered humiliating and a terrible thing.
