S&W brought him to the range I was working at last year. He demonstrated with a SW1911. Got all 8 rounds off before the first case hit the floor. All COM hits at 7 yards......

First case is probably on the ground in less than a second. 8 rounds in < 1 second is machinegun fast.

Impossible. An M1911 isnt capable of .125 splits. Thats why the revolver holds the record--they can fire as fast as he can pull the trigger. |

That trick shooter on Shooting USA (or whatever that gun show on OLN is called) bump-fired a 1911 once, and that was pretty darn tootin' fast.
