Quoted: Not meant to be as trollish as that sounded. I meant Jeeps in general. Haven't heard too many bad things about XJs. Just wish I could find one with decent mileage (under 100k). I wish I could but I dont have one YET get an xj thats what I want in what sense? seriously.... the 4.0 inline 6 is a 300,000+ mile engine, and so is the aw 4 transmission. you have nothing to be skittish about. about the only thing that happens with them is rear main seal leak which can be done in your driveway without dropping the tranny(unlike most other engines)

The captions for these pics should read, "Your tax dollars at work." My Taxes had nothing to the current Jeep. Ford made many Jeeps in WWII and Into Korea. A Jeep is not a company. It has many names over the years as for as manufacures. A Jeep is design. I have four Fords in my driveway. If the day is going to be rough,I leave the highly modified Ranger for off road. I pick the stock Jeep Wrangler. A Ford truck is tough, but a Jeep (whoever made it) gets you there. |
