The utter agony of this is that if the President let some of the guys (not necessarily regular military) loose to get some payback, and the cocksuckers at CBS got ahold of it, they would crucify him. (ETA: and Kerry (& the French & the Terrorists) would win. I have no doubt that Kerry would "sue for peace" or some other Chamberlainian move, and all the allied blood spilt would be for naught))
As gutwrenchingly painful as it is, he has got to keep walking the narrow path, at least until November 2nd, then unleash the dogs. If regular military can get these bastages, then all the better, if not... Prayers for the hostages & their families.

I've heard some American Contractors are forbidden to do so… I can only speak from what happens in the British Sector, a friend of mine is in Basra, when contractors report their presence to the Army they are asked asked if they have a weapon, If they say 'no', they are pointed in the direction of a 20' container and 'advised' to help themselves. I know that these men are in a better place now, but the thought of the horror and agony they suffered at the hands of these bastards saddens me to a degree I had not thought possible. My heart goes out to their families.

I heard on Fox News last night that the hostages started to voice concerns when their Iraqi guards started to not show up for duty. WTF did they have Iraqi guards? If it doesn't exist, there should be a company like Blackwater, but instead of ex-SpecOps guys, they use Marines or experienced Army guys.
