They shouldn't even have to do that.

You shouldn't own a revolver if you aren't smart enough to keep you fingers away from the barrel gap.

Looks like they don't have to add "Mind the gap" as well...

ETA:  And for good measure:

I am elated that the judge ruled the way he did.

What pisses me off most about our society is the loss of the concept of personal accountability.

If the plaintiffs in these silly law suits were made to pay the entire cost of the defense, they would cease to clog our courts.

Wasn't there a thread on here about this a while back?

A member cut his finger and someone made some videos using a hotdog to show the effect or placing a finger over the barrel gap.

I recall that thread, although I don't recall the videos.  He basically claimed the exact same thing that was in issue in reference to this lawsuit.  He said that he had his finger in the way of the hot gases coming out of the cylinder and that the gases basically took off part of his finger.

Another member made the hotdog videos, not the member thereafter known as Stumpy.

A firearm, like any tool, can cause injury to the user if proper procedure is not used.

I'll do you one better.  I think the lawyers representing them should pay the costs.  If they actually had something to lose, they wouldn't convince retards like Missing McThumb that they have a case.
