I've seen quite a few pics on the boards lately, and they seem to go hand in hand.

So let's hear it!

Do you own both an AR type weapon AND a Jeep or "Jeepish" type vehicle???

94 YJ and a 01 Cherokee, and way too many AR's
Link Posted: 6/9/2008 10:24:49 AM EST
Funny story.

I bought my Jeep Wrangler long before I was into AR's. The Jeep had these really cool spiders on the side and a huge one on the hood. I almost pulled them off but most people liked them.

Years later I am deep into BRD and I need some mags. I hit up Spike's Tactical and there was the damn spider logo!

The only thing I wonder is if the guy who owned the Jeep before me was ever a member here on ARFCOM.

I used to own the REAL JEEPS. I had 2 M38A1s and sold them after I got out of the Army. So no, not right now but I still own 2 4x4s. Ars 'NO", they were lost in outer space.

I've got a TJ and an ar. Two of the most expensive hobbies. This year alone I have spent roughly $10,000 between the two of them. (Just about a 50/50 split)
Link Posted: 6/9/2008 10:50:16 AM EST
Yup and here is the back of my Jeep.
Link Posted: 6/9/2008 10:50:41 AM EST
Mine's a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, though somewhat modded. (It's got a few surprises to it.)

I noticed that somebody at the Ammoman.com site uses one. (It shows up in their parking lot pictures) I wonder if that person also owns an AR?

(Yes thats a I <3 Twins sticker on the back window lol)

Fully roller 383-s, It would white smoke the tires through 2nd gear.

But I'm more than happy with my new Mopar 4x4
