ISTR reading elsewhere that the Panther's crew ultimately didn't survive the war.
Not 100% sure though.

Awesome.   Those Sherman crews had some balls.   All armor crews have steel balls but them especially.

Spiegel also didn't mention the Panther moved when the Patton came after it.



The Patton fired one round of AP through a building hoping for a hit as it moved (reversed?), but the Panther already moved to far.

I never get tired of seeing this video.

And, coincidentially, I am building up Tamiya's M26 Pershing now,
so this is very timely.

Almost forgot: I've been to Cologne and have seen the place where the action
took place.
