Well, this IS Texas.. The family ALWAYS gets each other guns for Christmas. I have mentioned this to a few people before and they were shocked. Would the family freak out at your house if firearms were gifts?

If we weren't all broke, it would look like a third world arms deal.

Yes. I'm still living with my dad and his girlfriend and the girlfriend won't let me even buy my own AK. Maybe I should have mentioned a gun with less of a reputation than the AK, and it would've had a better chance of getting past.

But definately not for Christmas.

You are right. It is not Christmas unless there is a gun under the tree.

This year I going to give my Dad a Steyr M40.

Merry Christmas

Got a Mini-14 for my Birthday a couple years ago.  Bought my dad a SA 1911 GI for his B-Day last year.  Does that count?

It wouldn't be Christmas w/o a long box under the tree.

My favorite Christmas's were 12 when I got a Browning .22 rifle and 15 when I got a USGI Carbine.

I  am at a point where I don't know what to get me for Christmas.  The wife will get me whatever I want, I just can't decide.

I already gave the wife hers and installed it (flowmaster sys. for her new truck)

I am leaning toward a stainless Sig 220 and a bunch of .223 ammo, but just can't commit.  Kinda like a writer's block.  Maybe a Santa's block............

Do it every year to my sister in law.

Last year she broke down and got one!

It was a cheap USA mag. but she got it none the less.
