I call these the Light Side & the Dark Side.  The Python was a grail gun for me so I bid on a bunch of them at auction and won two.  I was lucky they were nickel and blue with the same barrel length!

Can't speak for Baloo, but built like a tank and I love the way mine stages in double action.

This thread gives me the fever to go buy a new revolver. And I'm eyeing some Pythons I never got around to buying...

That is sweet. Does the blued one have a blue hammer.
Would be neat to swap hammers and triggers between them. Nickel with blued trigger and hammer. Blued with nickel trigger and hammer. They'll both have a bit of ying and yang in them and be truly mated as brothers.

Also, I'll just keep on pimpin' this old picture. I should take a new one but don't have the gun with me right now.

My only wheelgun for now. A new 27-9 Classic 4".

why?! arbitrary statements are arbitrary??

anywasys, i had dream last night ruger made a new 22 version of the russian nagant:

-had like 3 bullets per cylinder (so capicty waas like 3o sime riounds by my sleeping math, however, cylinder wasnt oversized as it shoul have been.  wtf, seemed sensible?
-gap in cyiner was closed somehow so could suppress it
-cylinder came out the back of  frame somehow so you could slide new loaded cylinder in...

it looked good, yet somehow there is no way you could incorprate all those elements and it not look fugly...

That’s really hot

I'd love to get a box for my 6 inch no dash-but not looking very hard for one.

Picked up a 6 inch pre lock 586 recently, haven't shot that one yet.

One of the NY compliant lightweight versions in .357 Mag actually sounds fun & w/ the right red dot, somewhat practical for hunting.
