Well, some of ya'll saw the FX special "Oil Storm", this is about how it happened, isn't it? Is THIS the Hurricane that triggers out of control gas prices and basically makes the SHTF?

There is no oil shortage, and will not be after this.
We could be swimming neck deep in oil right now and it would not make any difference in gas prices one little bit. We CANNOT refine enough gas because we don’t have enough refineries. There is a shortage of refining capacity and that is going to be greatly exasperated until the refineries that were shut down for the storm come back on line. Having said that Oil Storm was bullshit and this ain't going to trigger that kind of reaction. |

We are already being warned that the price of oil/gas will go much higher, so it just may be.....
Just getting to work will upset untold family budgets that didn't anticipate incredibly high gas prices. My Jeep Wrangler cost $30 to fill today, and still had 3 gallons in it....damn. HH |

These high prices are largely media manufactured. NBC / ABC / CBS were all "talking up" these price hikes days ago. |

the N.O. is also a large part of the off loading process is it not? Several refineries are off line for how long??? This will have a impact, like it or not. How bad? Not Oil Storm bad I hope. |

- Thanks man! I didn't want to have to open my display case and start using my live 40mm rounds. I have plenty of belt gun ammo...but I prefer my light and able 5.56 gadgets....So, anybody want to get together Friday night a for a few beers before the SHTF on Saturday? |

True, but I was actually referring to a report on my drive home on the radio that said we should expect a huge spike within a few days....what constitutes huge, I dont' know...but I didn't like the sound of the report. They're also saying that this will cause many people to completely alter the frequency of their driving habits, and affect possibly their ability to get to work. HH |

Unless you guys can wait until after work?..I would be happy to join into SHTF around 6pm...is that good for everybody? Plus it gives me time to hit the grocery store....I would really like to pickup a few things before I barracade myself in... |

No oil storm. There are just too many people driving, thinking it is a right.
If we were to get all the illegal aliens back to Mexico, that would take at least 10 million drivers off the road. Mostly uninsured drivers too. That alone will account for 5% of the consumption. And 5% makes a BIG difference in the supply. |

Tues is fine. We can use the holiday to load mags and build defensive positions around the neighborhood. Sure the neighbors will look at ya strange when you unroll concertina and build road block. But come on. We are Afrcommers, our neighbors should not be THAT surprised. |
