Actually, what that looks like to me is Negligent Discharge. There's a video somewhere of a Vegas officer (female) who nearly blows a suspects head off while he's handcuffed on the ground. Wouldn't surprise me if that's what happened here. |

If memory serves, it's real but not complete. If it's the one I saw, he had a bomb belt. I'm not sure why they shot him, but I don't care, and he being on a suicide mission has nothing to complain about.
ETA: assuming it is real, complete, and accurate, why does it "speak loudly" when deliberate murder of randomly selected Israelis doesn't? |

Pictures are funny, they can be arranged to give any number of different stories credence. Somewhere between the time he was fully clothed to the time he was buck naked a completely different team of police/soldiers took over form the IDF soldiers who began the detention. Whoever put together this collage fails to tell us what went on in between the time he was dressed and being held by guys in OD green uniforms, and when he was laying down buck naked being handled by guys in black unifroms. Did he have a suicide belt on? did he have a radio detonator up his ass? Was there soemthing else that may have made him a danger to those around him? We don't know, all we are being shown is a one sided story that is very obviously biased and intended to harm the current government if Israel and weaken thier hand in defending thier tiny country from those who have vowed time and again to destroy not only thier country but thier entire culture was well as ours.

Honestly I don't think Israel is that different from anyone else in that region.
It would not amaze me to learn that it happened just like that. But at the same time I don't recall anyone in Israel EVER getting their heads sawed off on video so they can just spare me the "oh the poor Palestinians crap." NOBODY has a moral high ground over there. And after 9-11 MILLIONS of Americans who may have actually cared about civil rights violations of Palestinians in Israel simply don't give a fuck anymore. I know, I am one of them. It sucks when ANYONE innocent (and there certainly are innocent victims on both sides) dies in a stupid ass war between religious Fundamentalists but we had over 3,000 dead INNOCENTS on 9-11 so I no longer have the luxury of caring about the plight of the Middle East. When Israel flies a plane load of innocent Saudis into Mecca with over 3,000 dead then MAYBE I will give a damn, but probably not. |

ok i remember this when it came out. The deal was he was laying on an explosive belt and as they were trying to detain him he started rubbing against the belt trying to flick the trigger and basically resisting with the intent to detonate the bomb he had under him. They responded with a shot to the head for their own safety. I dont see a problem with what happened. Maybe he'd be alive today if he did have an explosives belt on in the first place.
