You're drunk if you don't think the Republicans have the EXACT same plans and preparations in place.


There are NUMEROUS states where close calls are expected this year, and both parties have teams of lawyers standing by ready to file suits, recount demands, etc - if they do not win.



This isn't a "Kerry" thing, this is a 2004 election thing.

I just got back from my GOP county lawyers team. We are fired up and ready to go.
I am on first level, that means I go to polling places where the problem is, try to browbeat the workers into doing the right thing, and if they don't document the problem and pass it on to our injunction team.

Our county includes three black and union cities with a history of massive voter fraud. They are gonna get it this year.

Edit: We have some good lawyers on the team. We have some hacks, but some of the guys are real good. The injunction team is so-so for talent, except that we have a state house member on the team. I am supposed to get sent to the real ghetto, they are partnering me up with a 'police officers for bush' cop to cover my back.

It's just sad, if they pull this shit then our system is cracking.

ETA - And DKProf is absolutely correct. The Republican party is prepared to match these bastards blow for blow. The campaign headquarters where I am volunteering has several lawyers waiting in the wings.

I dont drink, so that rules out your first theory. Maybe I understated my problem with it. Sure the republicans will do it, but I dont see them bragging about it. I think what we needed this year was Jo Schmo Armchair quarterback to run for president, this bullshit is getting old. If we cant have a clean election then we have a problem as a whole.
