Ummmmm, it was meant to inject a bit of levity,not as a serious implication that someone who posesses an obese feline is guilty of cruelty to animals.

We got a war on here, and some people get all worried about my stance on feline obesity.[:)]

I saw a gray cat like that today. Not quite as long but it's stomach was that wide. Weird looking. I heard that letting your cat get that fat is extremely hard on their kidneys and internal organs.

Winston, that giant white cat photo is a hoax. It's been around a while, and I've read all about how they did it and what's wrong with the picture. Now the fat cat at the top of this thread may be for real. If so, Kitty is going to croak soon, but I'm betting on the little gal to grow up and become a real cutie -- just about right for my youngest son.. :)
