I noticed what I figured were weird scratches on my iPhone car a few days ago and figured it got scraped. But then today more marks. And then really weird scratches around a microphone port.
I took pictures, but they suck since they are with my work phone.
In my pocket. With the work phone and a G19 reload. I thought it could be the magazine hurting it. But the work phone has no marks on it.

Those pics should be good enough to run through updog, they have really good algorithms for analyzing bite patterns on most common species. If they come back with nothing, I'd suspect wear from movement.

Is your phone normally where something would chew on it without your knowledge?
If it's in your pocket..... I'll guess crabs.

That's what it looks like to me, a small rodent of some sort.

I hate where I live. It's a 90 year old two-unit (upstairs unit/downstairs unit) house. Downstairs is not occupied and is filthy. I've told my landlord that I am pretty sure there are rodents down there. He's a good guy but having financial problems. I bet he hasn't handled it.
I guess I'll put out traps and spray more. I'm moving out at the beginning of August.

You're in Florida. It's obviously giant cat-eating lizards.

My ram mount on my motorcycle leaves a perfect ring cut into the back of my phone case, people are always asking if I use it as a coaster.
Do you keep it next to your bed at night? Where you might, well, nibble at it when you're sleeping?

Lol, yes. However, my G19 is right next to my iPhone. And it has Talon grips which are a soft rubber as well. No marks at all. I started going through my food not stored in the fridge, and I have noticed no chew marks and none of my food appears to be infested with anything. I do find the occasional dead roach because I spray, but I live in Florida, so there are going to be random roaches.

I've seen this before, a buddy of mine started seeing similar chewing.
Three days later...dead.

Rodents. Manufacturers use peanut-based oil as a mold release agent. Car wiring is also attractive to rodents.
