I like to listen to rap when I run. It's about the only time I listen to it. Am getting tired of listening to the same Eminem, Immortal Technique, other older songs. Anything new that's decent?

If you like Immortal Technique try Jedi Mind Tricks and Swollen Members.
Only new guy I like is Kendrick Lamar. No idea who anyone else is. |

View Quote I tend to be conservative in my music preference. I like Rock, but no thrasher stuff. However, I created a station on Pandora I named Lords of Acid station that I listen to when I run. |

Future - Mask Off (Official Music Video) Chris Brown - Party feat. Usher & Gucci Mane - (Lyrics) Migos - Slippery feat. Gucci Mane [Official Video] Gucci Mane - Hi-Five [Official Audio] I only run/workout to rap. I have literally hundreds of suggestions. |

So, do you like to pretend your being chased by rich & vibrant culture when you do this? To help motivate you to run faster?
That makes some kind of sense. Still a form of self-torture, but it has a logic. |

You should try listen to Trap (electronic kind) music if you haven't already. Same type of beats as those Gucci songs but less rapping usually. View Quote Trap and vocal EDM are some of my favorites to lift to. |

I love trap! Both the original rap "trap music" and the new electronic trap. Trap and vocal EDM are some of my favorites to lift to. View Quote Definitely check out Party Favor and Yellow Claw if you haven't already. |

I also like this type of ethereal electronic music that doesn't really have a genre. First one is sort of vocal EDM. The second one I've seen called melancholic vaportrap. Who knows. Lol. The second one WILL grow on you if you listen to it a few times. Just something about it.

Night Lovell - "Still Cold" and/or "Deira City Centre" are cool songs. Good beats.
Tech N9ne has some decent songs. Really cool one with Corey Taylor from Slipknot. "Wither" I think it's called. On the off chance I do workout, I usually listen to metal. Can give an endless list of that genre |
