Wonder why people think Kerry is good for gun owner's rights? It seems to me that the NRA is the only news outlet talking about his record on RKBA. I was in the dentist's office yesterday paging through the October 25 issue of Time Magazine and it had an in-depth article on the presidential candidate's positions on the issues. Some of the familiar hot-button issues were there like abortion and stem cell research, but gun control was notibly absent.
My local paper has a guide for voters
online (scroll down to "CANDIDATES ON THE ISSUES") and again, familiar ground with gay marriage and the war on terror, but where's the candidates on the Second Amendment?
I'm not one to scream "media bias" at every opportunity but it seems a little unusual that a newspaper in a battleground state like Ohio would carry John Kerry's duck-hunting photo ops and dutifully report that they prove that Kerry is the Sportsman's Friend, then just kind of not mention Kerry's record when it comes time to compare the two candidates, especially when this is one very divisive issue where the candidates have extremely different stances. Anybody else notice a blind spot in the media on this issue?

kerry does not want us to be gun owners, that is fact, look at his voting record

the media is biased

most unions are telling people to vote kerry to keep their jobs, 4 more years of bush will put everyone out of work

most people are too lazy to do a very little research on their candidates to be made aware of the truth of each candidate, voting records are a good indicator of a candidates true stand on things

so most go folliwing their leader to the polls to vote his will

There is.

There is a media blind spot on Kerry's entire record.

The 2nd ammendment is a sore spot for socialists. How do you tell the peacefully tell the public that the constitution must be modified based on a socialist ideology?
