I have been reading some of my military manuals
Explosives and Demolitions FM5-250, 1998,
Booby traps FM5-35, 1965,
Unconventional Warfare Devices and Techniques=Incendiaries TM 31-201-1, 1966,
Improvised Munitions Handbook TM 31-210, 1969,
Engineer Field Guide (Special Warfare) FM5-34, 1976.

Are these manuals real besides FM5-250 and Fm5-34 I am unsure if these are actual manuals. They look very authentic. Is the information in military manuals actually tested to make sure it works

If these are the true FMs, then all of that stuff has been tested, repeatedly.

I'm sure the people who put together sniper manuals were winging it

some of the stuff in these manuals is pretty far out and scary its hard to imagine some soldier putting together a chair and sofa explosive device.

Is there any way to find out if these manuals are real

The booby trap manual is based on many traps that US forces discovered while fighting in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

It's kind of like school rules, they were probably an issue before a rule was made of them.

It is far out stuff, but extreme situations call for extreme measures, and our military has killer brainstorms.

Find a soldier in those MOSs and ask him.

Never met a soldier who had access to any of these manuels I got the explosives and demolitions manual from a battle buddy in the army, and the engineer manuel from our company PA who was ex special forces. He confirmed some of the techniques but even he is unfamiliar with the manuals.

Agreed. If there's one thing the military likes to do, it's test things.

Well, I'd take'em at face value, but let some other poor goober hit the detonator the first time you try it. And be a mile further away from the blast than him.

These are some fucking scary manuels. One could demolish damn near anything with these manuals. And they are made for any one as smart as a child with the pictogram explanations of every technique.

You win. My ship date isn't for 63 days.

Having BTDT, are the manuals accurate?

Unknown not even SPEC OPs 18Cs have seen these manuals. They have seen some of the techniques in the manuals but have not seen the manuals. For all I know the only people who use these manuals work on the Farm at Langley.
