tell me what you guys and gals think!

You really don't need one unless your house came without a back porch.
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 10:12:17 AM EST
If I ever get to build a place, there will be one in the bathroom off from the Man Room.

Knew a family with six boys who had one installed in the garage. This way the boys (when younger) didn't have to come inside, tracking mud, dirt and grass through the entire house just to use the bathroom.
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 10:12:38 AM EST
Only if you install a stall for the toilet

In a guest area of the house....probably not.
In a basement bar or game room (or other place where the guys are going to be hanging out)...hell yeah
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 10:13:00 AM EST
Great idea! However, the only place I've actually seen it implemented was a frat house. I think it would be appropriate in a garage, shop, or basement bathroom.

I once rented a house that had a bathroom off the pool area with a urinal.

Male house guests thought it cool; female visitors not so much.

The one that hangs on the wall, or that ones that goes all the way to the floor?
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 10:18:22 AM EST
Any bets as to this becoming an epic thread?
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 10:19:43 AM EST
Honestly. I would walk outside and piss in my yard before I put a urinal in, but that's just me.

Nothing wrong with it if YOU want it.

On second thought....a trough would be a lot cooler.....takes more space, but worth the real estate if you ask me.

Reminds me of a funny story with a a bunch of drunk santa's pissing in a trough at a bar in the city...but thats another story and this isnt my thread.

I have one mounted under my computer desk. Works GREAT!
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 10:21:39 AM EST
I will have one someday....maybe a beday

Urinal in the house would be nice when it's cold out.

Even when it's cold I go outside to "water the flowerz".

I'm putting an addition to my man cave (mega-shed / work shop) this spring and it will have a urinal or trough with a gravity fed, pull chain from the rain water reservoir located along the ceiling line.

When the fellas are over BBQ'ing, pitching horse-shoes, throwing darts, etc. it just makes sense. Gotta take a dump...go inside the house. There are too many times when I am butchering a deer, working on a car, etc. that I am just too messy to go inside. 90% I'll just swing the cod behind the bushes.

My cousin, the plumber, put one in his big storage building, where his wife has a dog grooming business. He loved it, she hates it, funny as all hell.

I would, sometimes do, but the neighbors 50' from my backdoor make disgusted noises when I am outside.

I hate suburbia.

I tried to put on in the bathroom I just finished remodeling and I was vetoed. I will fight again to have one in the addition to the house. I think its a fantastic idea.

This thread is strangely becoming easier to masturbate to.

I don't see why a wife wouldn't like it, no more leaving the toilet seat up, less clean up required (bigger, closer target) after drunken urinations at 3am..

When my brother in law renovated his house, he put a urinal in the large 1st floor bathroom. (He has 3 sons) I thought it was a brilliant idea!
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 11:00:09 AM EST
Oh HELL YES! I want one so damned bad. That would be the coolest thing evar.
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 11:01:33 AM EST
No women would approve, they would not be able to tell you to put the seat down.

A urinal in the home is great way to save water.

One of my first jobs was janitor at a YMCA. The womens bathroom had urinals in it and somebody was using them!
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 12:06:13 PM EST
Before I was an apartment dweller, I would walk outside and wizz all the time.

Later, I had a piece of wood mounted in my bedroom window, with a piece of pipe in it to pass a few runs of coax through to the outside antennas. I had some extra PVC, so I made a mini urinal that went outside through the window. I wish I had taken pics, really should have taken pics when I showed the G/F how well it worked

Maybe that's why I'm single?

My parents put one in the basement bathroom when they built their house. It is the greatest thing on earth.
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 12:13:01 PM EST
My wife says I can have one in our next house!
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 12:28:41 PM EST
I've always thought it would kick ass.

How would you keep the bathroom from smelling like piss though?

Link Posted: 2/24/2008 12:34:41 PM EST
Foxxz's mom has one in their house for his brother, who is disabled.
Link Posted: 2/24/2008 12:35:27 PM EST

People really flush urinals? I had no idea.

I found a pic of this urinal in a guy's house.
