I've been flipping through the next couple months of movies on IMDb... doesn't seem like jack shit is coming out that's worth looking forward to.

Am I missing anything. V For Vendetta was the only one that really stood out and I'm not sure I wouldn't wait for that to rent.

I dug a little deeper...

MI:III May 5th... hey, they're stupid but mildly entertaining. Guns, hot chicks, explosions... an winning ARFcom formula.
Poseidon May 12th.. yeah, a remake but still looks pretty cool.
The DaVinci Code May 19th
X-Men III May 26th... ok... now I have something to look forward too.
The Omen 666 June 19th... I was never all that impressed with the original.
Superman Returns June 30th.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest July 7th

Here's one I have a feeling will piss some people off... World Trade Center... an Oliver Stone Film.

There's a movie about Flight 93 coming out to counter Stone's uVndoubtedly conspirazoid and anti-American treatment of the 9/11 attack.

You would think they'd aim for June 6th for that one....ah well.

V is for Vendetta might be good.  March 16th...

"The Aristocrats" came out on DVD today. Dont question what it is nor look it up. Just buy it and watch it with your family, especially small children and the conservative elderly.

In all seriousness it was funny if you like the crudest form of humor possible, just dont watch it formerly emphasized groups.

It's in my queue... I'm dying to see it just to see Bob Saget (Danny Tanner from Full House). I hear he is one of the filthiest comedians around.

Be careful what you ask for... you might end up getting Clint Eastwood humping Kevin Costner or something.

Yeah, there isn't a whole lot of originality out there, but what they lack in originality they make up for in production and special FX.

Take War of the World for example. Obviously not original but appreciate some of the filming in that movie. Like the scene were they're driving away from the city in the only working vehicle. Where the camera angle goes in and out and completely around the van. I thought that was amazing filming. While special FX shouldn't be the main focus of the movie they certainly enhance the moment if done right. Like when the tripod starts incinerating all of the people. Awesome effect but it really just increases the horror of the scene... and leads into another cool moment, where Tom Cruise realizes all of the ash on him was people.

Anywho... I guess I'm a glass half full person on movies.

I have been looking in the movie section of the newspaper and I haven't seen anything out for about a year.  I have very little hope for the future.

I am curious to see Hoodwinked as well.  One coworker said it was a riot.  Looks like it could be fun.

Clint Eastwood's movie about Iwo Jima called Flags of our Fathers
 coming out this August.
Hopefully it'll be on par with Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan.hug.gif

Wanna bet a dollar on whether or not there's a gay seaman in that picture?

I'm not all that impressed with James Franco's acting abilities. He wasn't anything special as Harry Osbourne in the Spider-Man films. He kind of reminds me of Hayden (Annakin Skywalker) Christiansen.
