I'm not either. I was suppose to work on a project this week including this weekend but it was cancelled at the last minute Tuesday.
or My Parole Office won't let me leave the state. or My friend at the ATF said not to go. |

I'm not going.
I'd like to meet everyone, well, almost everyone. I'm sure it's going to be an epic. But my wife and I have an 8 month old, and I miss so much of her infancy just working 12 hours a day that the idea of missing several days is unacceptable to me. There's always a next time. So I'll be around, posting my ass off. |

I shouldn't whine about not being able to go-I can't get out of some work stuff & my secretary is taking the next few days off (which I forgot about so I didn't line up a replacement-duh) so it's not like it's really a money issue or some other big problem-

If they had had it somewhere Alaska Airlines flies I would have gone (I get free tickets because my mother works for them), but combined airfare and board would have broken the bank this time around. Maybe next year.

Carl Buck sounds familiar, but I certainly couldn't put a face to that name. I didn't know him well, if at all. |

I'm not. It was looking like I'd be unemployed, but I just got a job and start tomorrow. Too late to make arrangements now. But I have my money saved up and will spend it at a gun show in Dallas the following weekend. So all is not lost. Then 2 weeks later the great ETH farm shoot out.

I'm not going because I'm a wimp and don't want to go alone. My friends are worse than wimps because they don't want to go at all. No they are not Liberal or anything like that! They just aren't into guns as much as I am. Fools! G.F. wanted to drop me off at the BRC, head for the biggest dot on the map and shop all day. Two days of both of us spending...That I definitely cannot afford. I guess I'm going to stay an internet freak for a year.[%|]

I'm starting my new job tomorrow at 0600 at Lambert International Airport. I won't be a screener after all, THANK GOD, but I don't even know what shift I will be working. I am assuming weekend mids, as I'll be the "new" guy with 15 years of experience[stick]

Being a poor college student, I don't have the money. The fact that I have finals starting on Monday might have something to do with it too.
On a side note, maybe the next BRC should be out west somewhere. Like Vegas (frontsight) or something. Just a thought. |

Alas, I can't make it this year either... Financial reasons, and lack of vacation time... maybe next year!
I'd like to take about a case of ammo for the AR, about half a case for the M1, and half a case for the .45 so I can get in plenty of shootin. Stay in a decent motel, and have enough vacation time to stay the whole weekend and drive up and back. Maybe next year! |

I can't swing it either. As a self-employed small business owner, there was no one but Mrs. Wiggy available to work while I was gone. We are having an incredible year and one person simply could not handle it all, darn.[:D] Maybe the next one will be closer to the southwest part of the US.
I decree that we will set up a government in absentia and rule the site with an iron fist! First rule - 5subslr5 is elected King for the term of this long weekend, but he has little power that is not sanctioned buy the entire remaining membership of the site bu unanimous vote! Second rule - I am the Minister of War and can operate indepentdently of the King, but not against any other members, unless they are being really uncooperative! Can you guys help me with the formation of our new government? |
