WIll the 9mm SMG work in the semi-auto version? More important, is it legal to put one in a semi-auto AR?

The better part of Colt production has the auto bolt. Yes, it is legal. The M-16 crap refers to the 5.56/223 parts. Do not drag this any farther to stir the crap w/ ATF, don't need any more of their "wisdom". Best to delete the post/thread in the long run.
