I just got a 4, and I have nothing to do with my old one.

Would it be worth listing on ebay or something?

Someone will buy it for $75-150

This is about right.  Here in SoCal, they go for right at $150 on Craigslist.

I've got a 3GS 32gb, 3GS 16gb, and a 16gb iPhone 4 sitting in the boneyard now, I have no expectations of selling them.  Always good to have a backup if you don't have AppleCare( I don't ).

Got any kids? If you do, download some games like Cut the Rope, Angry Birds etc and give it to them without the phone plan to play with. This way they don't mess with your 4. Have a few friends that have done this with old iPhones and little kids seem to love them

ATT will give you in store credit for it.  Not sure the value.
I traded in my 2 year old Android when I upgraded and they gave me almost 70 towards the new phone

No kids.

My buddy gave me his 32 gig iPhone4 for free.

If shit was to break, I'd just upgrade.

A friend of mine uses Gazelle to sell his old iPhones to.  Not sure what yours would be worth, but you could try.

You send your phone, they send you a check.  Pretty simple and safe.

ETA- Yeah from Gazelle looks to be about $30-$40

Yeah.

I use a retired 3gs as an ipod for my jobsite radio, Battery is hosed, volume buttons are gone. Found a brand new case and screen protector for $1.00, created a "work" playlist and it works great for that purpose.

I am trying to locate one to set up for my boy to play games on. Everyone around here thinks they are still the latest / greatest thing and wants at least $200 for them.

If you're just using it to run apps, might look for a ipod touch instead.  Even a new one can be had for > $200.

Sell it. Earlier this year I sold an original(1st generation) iPhone on eBay and got over $60 for it. Having picked up an iPhone 5, I plan on selling my 4 soon before the prices on those drop too much, but it's had a rough life - I think I could still probably get $150 for it, sure beats the hell out of leaving it sitting around until it's worth nothing.

I'll most likely get the Ipod touch.
