Is your environment something from which you constantly try and escape that saps you financially? Do you try and stay inside hoping to just be "left alone" while bills and expenses keep you broke? Do you just wish you could "get away from it all"?

Or is your environment something that exists merely to entertain you and cater to your wants and needs? Are you constantly exploring your surrounding areas looking for new diversions?

Where's Armyhealth?  She's a senior psych major who would probably be interested in this question.

It's actually deeper than one may think.  this delves into someone's very outlook on life!

Prison, and I can't think of anyone I know personally that would agree that the world is a playground.  It's only a playground for a select few.z

A bit of both really. Its my playground, but for some reason the damned equipment keeps needing upgrading so its my prison at the same time.

Playground.

I was thinking last night as I got in bed that I needed a housekeeper that put fresh sheets on my bed EVERYDAY.

I wonder how much that would cost?

I could find a lot of trivial shit like that for people to do for me if I was really rich.

Neither; I'd have to say I am somewhere in the middle of the two.

For the most part, playground. A gun nut in AZ, and AZ's pretty lenient on guns. Any time I've gotten screwed over is when I was doing something stupid.

SE Alaska? Playground! Tons of forests, islands to explore, very low population density. Perfect for shooting, fishing, and hunting.

Oh wait, no guns, everyone is a socialist/lib/moron except for you and a 1 or 2 of your buddies. I have to learn a bunch of crap I will never use again. Did I mention I pay 40000 a year for this? Everyone is Drunk ALL the time(I dont drink). I am not allowed to live off campus unless I pettition to the dean.

thats a few reasons. 50 years ago when it wasnt overun by libs and guns werent too un PC to keep in your dorm room it probably rocked.

Both.  Sometimes I can do no wrong and sometimes I wonder why I bother.  The exact same environment will cause both of these feelings at different times.

Sounds like you are going to the wrong college, then.  @ Texas Tech, I lived in the dorm one year, had very few commie fucktard professors and most of the people there where as wheels off as I was.  What school are you attending?
