I was in a bookstore the other day and on a lark thought "hey, I will get a Sgt. Rock comic, haven't done that in a long time." But they did not have it. It troubles me to think that a whole generation of kid may be missing out on Little Sure Shot, Short Round, Long Round, and the like. Just curious.

I'm not sure but I think they stopped new issues sometime around '92.

And don't forget the 'Ghost Tank' - the M-5 Stuart tank destroyer, with it's Southern crew attended by the Ghost of Gen. Jeb Stuart hisself! That and Sgt Rock of Easy Co., got me through the War! Eric The(ButThatWouldBeSoPolticallyIncorrectNow)Hun[>]:)]

Rock's gone, as are all the other great war comics I grew up with. FWIW, there are some newer Unknown Soldier and Enemy Ace "graphic novels" that I found while searching for old war comics on eBay. They are definitely not what we grew up with, but hey, at least I got to revisit the U.S. and E.A. again! BTW, here is a link to a few Enemy Ace and Men of War stories online: http://209.235.66.44/comicbooks.htm
