I think getting a .22 for Christmas would be the best gift ever. I hope one day I have a son, so I could start him out early on guns. I didn't get my fist .22 until I was 19.

Not for Christmas, but he will get one in February for his 7th Birthday

They won't be seeing them for a few years yet but the two little boys each got a K-31 in seasonal sales.

I got my first firearm (a Marlin bolt-action .22 sold by Montgomery Wards) for my 8th birthday. That was far and away the most memorable Christmas I had as a kid.

My 8 yo already has a .410, .22, and .243. He got some camo overalls this year. We are going to kill his first deer this next week during the time off . Plenty of does and small bucks in our hunting places, shouldn't be a problem. Maybe I'll post the first kill "blood" photos for some to ridicule

When I was 15 or 16 I got a Benelli M1 S90 Tactical for x-mas. It's truly an amazing firearm.

Mine will be getting a neon blue cut down 10/22 in about 7 hours. If she sleeps that long.

The best chance of me getting anything gun related for Christmas is if I buy it myself

Two best Christmas gifts I ever got were my Crossman 760 and my Mossberg .22!

Yes. I got the sons a .22 Taurus Stainless Steel Slide Action Rifle each.

We got the 14 year old a 12 gauge. He finished hunter safety this spring and got a .22 for Easter. Since we're in Iowa a good pump 12 gauge and a .22 cover pretty much every hunting season!

Not this year. My 11 year old daughter already has a heavy barrel 10-22T with Leupold and a Winchester 1300 20 gauge Youth Model.

Santa bought me two Stag lower receivers, but I had to go fill out the DROS myself. I also had to pay for the lowers myself, because Santa was a little strapped for cash. It's ok though, because it's the thought that counts.

Also, Santa forgot to pack the lowers onto his sleigh so I won't actually get the lowers until sometime around January 7th or so.

We did the whole christmas thing at my parents house here a few hours ago and i was truly amazed. My Grandfather gave me his S&W military/police .38 that hes had since '63, and my dad gave me the match 1911 thats been in our family since my grandfather used it in the Korean War...I am truly blessed this christmas...now only if the soon to be inlaws can get the hint.

I got my daughter a .22 Davey Crickett rifle with a pink stock for Christmas. It's not from Santa. It's from me. Don't know how this is going to go over with the Mrs. I wanted to tell her but it just never seemed like the right time. Now it's too late.

In a couple more years Santa will be bringing my son a .22.

My FIL gave the nicest 91/30 that I've ever seen to me for Christmas this year.

The .22 rifle I bought for my daughter did not go over too well with the wife. I had it wrapped up and she asked me what it was. When I told her she said I didn't discuss it with her and she didn't think it was a good idea to give it to her. I did discuss it with her previously and she said no. I thought it was a great present. She has enough Barbies and Bratz crap that she doesn't play with. I haven't given it to my daughter yet because I didn't want a big fight on Christmas. I'll keep a hold of it and give it some time since she's only 7 years old.
