If we were hit with a large scale terrorist attack on the western coast that would limit or criple our oil and power do you think china would jump at the chance for taiwan or us?

They'd go after Taiwan.

They're already going after us economically and taking us over a little at a time.

I do. I trust them to be Chinese and take the long view. There will come a time when we again have a gutless coward like Clinton in the White House and the Chinese will have nukes that can hit all of the US. One morning they will announce that they are taking Taiwan back and are prepared to go nuclear if necessary. And so goes Taiwan back into the arms of the motherland.

they wont go for taiwan until after the 2008 olympics.

that is according to my biochem professor who is originally from taiwan. (i went to his office one day and asked him questions about that stuff)

We have two nuke drops under our belt.Deterance out the ass. I mean it would be complete suicide if they decide to have a nuclear conflict,Which i might add will never happen. You need to worry about china crippiling our economy more than nukes being dropped.
