I'm not reveling in the disaster that is happening in California right now. But apparently, they having MASSIVE amounts of people fleeing the People's Republic of California for other work and the fact that the standard of living there is so expensive.
Could all of our FREE states be hurt by this due to Californian migration to these parts in the country in BIG numbers, becoming voters and IMPRESSING their socialist ideals on the rest of us? |
Yes. Not good. Just because they relocate doesn't mean they start voting different. |
the suits in DC will just step in and make the state a ward of the federal gov't. That said...
"The only way to fix it is to flush it all away" |

CA going under is a good thing. The rats jumping ship is a bad thing, as they spread their disease to other states. The same disease that is sinking CA. Need to post National Guard along the borders, these people are worse than the illegal invasion from our southern border.

Quoted: Yes. Not good. Just because they relocate doesn't mean they start voting different. This. I've got several ex Californians as clients, they're the most liberal fuckwads on the face of the friggin planet. They want to implement the same absurd laws and regulations in Arizona as those that fucked up California and caused them to flee. I pointed this out to them and said "After the same idiotic policies wreck Arizona where do you plan to flee to next?". They had no real answer other than "Just because it didn't work in California doesn't mean it won't work in Arizona". Right. Fucking idiots. People like that are why I say "liberals cannot be persuaded or compromised with, only defeated". |

The state will just start asking for Federal handouts. We'll all pay for it...
They have already fucked up Colorado, but it could get worse.
So much California hate. We're not all bad.
Would you accept somebody who wants absolutely nothing from the government, will leave everyone alone as long as he's left alone, and strongly supports the 2nd amendment? Because I'm growing tired of this state. |
the last article I read looked like the legislature and governor still had not produced a budget, despite this period of time, and that talks of a budget had broken down. Im sure some of that stems from CA wanting some bailout pie.
all my family lives there, and Im pretty worried about whats going to happen to them. |
No. Nevada is the first stop. We have enough people and our own budget problems.
California people have infested Colorado and are turning that state from a beautiful conservative state to a liberal hippie state.
Every time I see a California license plate here it makes me want to vomit. They flea their state because it's all messed up and yet want the same Socialist Oppressive crap in the next state they move to. You couldn't pay enough...seriously couldn't pay me millions to get me to move to California and I sure as hell don't want California to move to me. |
maybe if they do fail the other 49 may realize that passing a billion laws really has helped no one.

You're behind enemy lines brother. |

Let them fail, they brought it on themselves.
Or let Hollywood folks fix it with their money. |

It depends on just WHY they're fleeing.
My Family all came from Southern California (Pomona, Downey, Riverside, La Verne....ect) and WE fled decades ago when we saw the writing on the wall. MY folks though KNEW what had brought us to the point that California ( Without a doubt, THE most beautiful area of the country to live in) was no longer our home and weren't stupid enough to DE-ASS it only to start voting for the same kind of shit that destroyed an American Jewel. Sadly, I "think" that alot of those now fleeing what it is that they have created (through the ballot box) haven't learned that lesson and are all too willing to try that shit again in their newly adopted homes with the (Ill concieved) idea that......We'll do it right this time"....... |
Much like mexico, california needs a wall around it to keep them in

I just want to a second and thank all you supposed "free staters".
I really appreciate you taking in all these poor refugees. They really are kind of worthless, but they're fun to watch, just don't let them vote! Please make sure you have lots of mini-malls and fancy clothing stores as they do love to shop. If you're real lucky, they will take a shine to your quaint backwoods ways and invite the rest of their clan. Won't that be nice? Perhaps some of your women folk would like to get jobs cleaning these poor refugee's houses? Wouldn't it be nice to have a little extra "pork chop" money? I have to be honest here, I'm not sorry to see them leave, but hey, if they have their minds made up who am I to stop them. Well, gotta run. One of the neighbors has their trailer all loaded and I promised to say good bye before they left. Thanks again.....bye. |

Does it really matter what we do? You guys just elected your buddy Obama to ruin the country. Looks like you dont need any help from us fucking things up.
Good riddence. I hope more (illegal) Mexicants flee CA and get back to the fucking rathole from which they came. We have a ton here by the beach living off section 8, welfare and the like.

They should quarantine their Liberalism like leprosy. You made your bed, now sleep in it, or fix it!
Those idiots will move to another state, then try once again to vote in their Leftist shangrila. |
There's more Texas, Colorado, and Nevada plates on the streets here than Californian ones. Those liberals have ruined this state turning it from the home of the Conservative movement of Ronald Reagan to one nearly as liberal as New York, New Jersey and some of the other New England states.
Go home damn it! |

The California budget is all about bloating the Unions who contribute to Democrap politicians - State employees union, Teachers union, Prison guards union, Bus driver's unions, Police and Sheriff unions and a few more unions I've forgotten. The average Californian who works for a living won't see any difference in their lives if every one of those union oinkers got laid off tomorrow.

But I can only see them growing the gov to "try to fix it". This place is fucked. |

Oh thats right, on Arfcom everyone just likes to bitch. I've been following some of the other threads about future Federal legislation. Most on here have already given up! Its soooo much easier to go after soft targets like Califonia and its residents than actually doing something. I'll have to IM Ed and see if he will change this forums name to "The Babysitters Club". |
