As of right now there are 18144 votes and it's dead even.  50 - 50

I'm guessing "No" is the correct answer.

Safer?  Probably not, but what does that matter?  It's a right of a free people, and such rights shouldn't be beholden to 'safety' concerns.  We would be 'safer' if .gov cameras were installed in our homes and GPS trackers were installed in our skins.  'Safety' is a poor judge of quality of life...

Street Sweeper and Striker 12 and other revolving cylinder semiautomatic shotguns.  

Beretta AR-70 and SC-70, used by armed forces in a number of countries including Italy, Jordan and Malaysia.  

Colt AR-15, the civilian version of the M-16 rifle that is the U.S. military’s standard-issue rifle.  

Several weapons manufactured by Fabrique Nationale, the FN-FAL, FN-LAR and FNC. The guns are used by the armed forces of more than 90 countries.  

Steyr AUG, a rifle made in Germany.

Wow you can tell CNN is a more liberal site.  Their poll is 75% to 25% in favor for the ban.

If all the Libs are going to act blind, they shouldn't be allowed to drive...
