As I write this, A North Korean Freighter is making it's way to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, Loaded with several gunboats destined to go into service with the Iranian Navy, after being retro fitted with anti ship missles.

There is only one purpose for these Missle Boats.

To shore up the Iranian's capibility to deny access to the U.S. Navy, to the waters of the Persian Gulf.

Since Both Iran and North Korea have been named as members of the Axis of Evil, And Iran supports Hammas Terrorists, Should we send this North Korean ship to the bottom of the Gulf of Oman, Before it can deliver it's cargo of Missle Boats to Iran?

We can just sink Navies that we don't care for? What sort of barbaric country does that without first coming up with someone else we don't like to blame. Why don't we get that little wombat, Tony Blair from Brownsex,England to do it for us this time.

No. We don't need to start anything with N. Korea right now.

We can take out these boats individually whenever we want in the future.

Actually, I think we should board it and seize the shipment.  Give our SEALs and Marine Force Recon boys some work.

Yes, let's just take away every other countries' arms while we're at it. Because of course, arms control is what's gonna make the world safe, right boys and girls? Suggestions of this type (deny X country weapon Y because otherwise they might someday use it against us) emanate from the same bad thought process as gun control on the seizing individual small arms level!

Here's a novel idea - WHEN and IF someone hurts us real bad, we hurt them back FAST and in the most brutal and public of ways. We don't dick around nation-building. We "avoid foreign entanglements." When Osama Bin Laden harms Americans, Osama Bin Laden should cease to exist. The manner of his ceasing to exist should be so barbaric and horrifying that the NEXT guy thinking about harming Americans remembers what happened to Osama and decides that's a bad move.

No, let's just take missile boats away from a nation that has supported our enemies.  That will be enough for now.

The ship needs to just disappear.

One of our submarines should just put a full quartet of Mk48 torpedoes in it. If possible try to get the torpedos to hit along the keel so it will go down as quickly as possible without a chance to make a radio signal

On the other hand, North Korean missile boats aren't very dangerous to our fleet. Remeber 1987 and Operation Preying Mantis? I'd be more worried about a ship full of advanced mines rather than missile boats, all they can do is be target practice for us.

i think we should take the missle boats and send the other ship carrying them back. on the way back it "accidently" hits a "World War 2" mine which had "accidently" been forgotten from the war![}:D]
