Good point, my browser on my desktop just started making me log onto ARFCOM every time..
I didn't realize that this started at the same time I turned on private browsing.
Turned private browsing off and it remembers me now.

Still doesn't fix the fucked up banner adds and avatars in the middle of posts on the iphone 6. Meh.

Just noticed that in IOS 8 on the iphone 6, the private browsing switch is no longer in settings, it is in the tab button at the bottom of each page.
