Choose a weapon that won't damage their eardrums?

I'm of the impression that a AR or certain handguns (like my 10mm) may be loud enough to damage a toddler's hearing but a shotgun might not...Am I wrong? Should it factor in the choice of weapon?

Worthy point to consider.

Sounds like a good reason for a suppressor to me!

begs the next question...

will there be any legal isues for using an NFA or NFA fitted weapon for actual defense?

If all the paperwork is legit, should not be a problem in Texas.

it seems lik ethe logical answer... but still had to ask..

like someone in another thread said... its a sign of the times...

think that after using it ... you would have a harder road to go down when you need another sig for your next NFA item?

I can see it now....

you walk into the CLEO office asking for another sig for your forms .. he is about to rubber stamp it, when he remebers that YOU actually used the last one he signed for and the public wanted his head on a stick for it....

It if was beyond a doubt a justified self-defense shooting, I wouldn't worry about it. Doesn't matter if the weapon was a NFA item or a rolling pin.

Who cares what you use.

Kill the intruder and be done with it.
