Yeah...right.  I'll believe that...as soon as Angelina Jolie arrives at my front door, stark naked, and hands me one.

If the "Belt-fed .308 AR-15" picture didn't tip you off (to it being fake) I'm not sure what would.

Looks like they just shove a belt into any convenient hole and take a pic. I mean, hell, the belt is going into the ejection port on the AR.

I once asked about an AR in .308 and was told the action was too short, wouldn't take 51mm.

Aaaack!  You're right about the belt going in where AR poop comes out.

As a result I'm a bit skeptical on the rest.   Also while this SEEMS to be an engineering coup, here in PRK at least, I'd think belt-fed would get you in trouble.  Not sure, but not interested in doing a lot of research about something I probably can't have.  A good 1911 would be enough for me.

In fact it looks like that 1911 is just laying on top of the belt.

Dont go comparing it to the Shrike now, we still may see a bellt fed 1911 before any Shrikes are in production.

I call BS.
There is simply no space in an AR15 or 1911 for all the necessary parts for a belt-fed, much less parts made at a basic workshop (ie, it's possible with tiny parts or micromachining - not for a regular gunsmith!). Also, more BS flags on the "trouble overseas" line; it would be all over this site at the very least if the military ordered beltfed conversions for ANY box fed gun.

Anyone want to bait this guy with an irresistable offer?

I didn't look at the link, is this the idiot that claimed to make a beltfed 1911......   or AR15.... or I think also a bolt action?

Now if I could find plans for that miniature 1919 I saw that shot .22RF I could grab it in a heartbeat

Actually the .22 1919s are damn cool.  I think tipmann made them.   Lakeside had videos of the little 1919s, way cool stuff.
