Just breaking on CNN. Pentagon says the RPG shooter is one of them.

Out of respect for the Religion of Peace, the bodies of these men will no doubt be buried at sea, and pictures of their demise withheld from public view or scrutiny.
Carry on. |

Why are they posting this dumb shit? Why give them elevated status by putting that information on TV? Insurgents die all the fucking time, unless it's a big Taliban commander or Al-Qaeda terrorist, I don't think we should make a big fuss about it. They don't deserve it.

I like knowing that they are dead. +1 The world is a better place now that UBL & these assholes are dead. I have faith that they, and all the other dead terrorists, are rotting in hell where they belong. |

Glad they are dead. Doesn't bring our guys back, but it still sounds nice.

NATO air strike kills Taliban insurgents who down US helicopter in Afghanistan - Reuters
FLASH: NATO air strike kills Taliban insurgents who "downed" helicopter in worst single incident of the Afghan war
|
|
According to the report, a highly concerted effort was made to track these fuckers down. Then an air strike was called in to fry em. I would imagine anyone who is directly responsible for killing 30 of our people including 22 US Navy SEALs, would quickly become marked men. As for releasing the info? I would think America would like to know that the people who are responsible for killing her sons have assumed room temperature (after they reached baking temperature of course).
|
|
Yeah, wondering how they can positively ID him. They all look alike.

No those of us are confused how do they know the actual man that shot down the chopper was killed. Did they take a photo of him before he shot the chopper down? Or is this just a we killed a guy carrying an RPG, so lets just make this a feel good story. |

Now if we would just do as Black Jack Pershing did to the Moro's maybe this shit would stop, or at least slow way the F––K down.

I meant, ARFCOM in general and in previous threads. My guess is that they got intel from interrogations and probably with dumbass taliban members who wanted to puff their chest out and boast about it to their friends. Complete guess on my part though. |

These insurgents love their radios and can't keep from yapping on them. You can only imagine the level of radio chatter among these goat fuckers after they brought down the Chinook. Their transmissions were probably already being monitored. So it doesn't seem too unlikely they used their radio communications to track them down. |

Insurgent gets a lucky shot and hits chinook, becomes a local celebrity among other insurgents, intel gets info and passes to secret squirrel ninjas who find him and then call in an air strike. |

Did odumma remotely drop the bombs on those bad men after hours of contemplation?
|
|
what is this shit??? nsome kind of spin on some taliban getting killed, to make it look like , ''obama got the enemy who killed our seals''?? ain't no way that they know WHO shot the RPG, but it is a good bet they will try to boost the loser's image, with any number of lies.

Anyone know the story about the Ranger firefight who called in the support? That would also help identify the group responsible.

Did "they" say how they know its him? A Washington Post / CNN / MSNBC poll indicated a 59.2% probability it was him or someone like him. |

I don't believe this. If everyone died in the crash how would they know who it was to begin with? Did he get on his Facebook and brag about it? Tweet it? What?
Edit: I do believe we killed someone though, probably just not the guy who shot down the helicopter. |
|
Here's my thought. If they knew WHO did it, they should have been close enough to get him and prevent it the first time around.
We generally don't have that kind of info unless we're already aiming heavy artillery. |

It makes me laugh that some of you don't think the US military could track down these stupid, evil idiots.

Wagging the fuck out of that dog right now is all... We kill bunches of insurgents nearly every day in Afghanistan. But of course we know THIS group was the one that shot down the chopper. Sure. Why not.... |

It makes me laugh that some of you don't think the US military could track down these stupid, evil idiots. It took them nearly 10 years to find the most wanted man on the planet. For the last 5 years he was living in the lap of luxury in a "friendly" country surrounded by retired military officers. |

There is no way they know who did it... this only bolsters the conspiracy theory's out there... so stupid.

Yeah, and he wasn't blabbing on the radio about how he had shot down a helicopter, either. |

Whether it works or not, i'm ok with them not just killing the RPG shooter, but the village the RPG shooter lived in, the RPG shooters family, and the village their family lived in.
Dirka Dad: Allah damnit Akhmed!! You better straighten the fuck up, i'm not about to get my ass blown up because you think its cute to shoot at the Americans.

SECDEF: Mr. President, we've located the RPG shooter, he is in a small village to the west.....
Obama: Good, send in the FBI and MAKE SURE he gets a Miranda advisement...... SECDEF: What about bombing his ass straight to Allah........? Obama: I will let you know next week, I have a golf swing I am trying to improve.....but if he points it at someone ONLY THEN can you use force......and Bob I don't want a repeat of the Bainbridge incident either...... ============================= SECDEF: [thru the chain of command] Smoke'm if you got 'em. Commander: "Attention strike package, you are cleared weapons hot, if I find even a piece of dirt clod in that village bigger than my finger the only planes you will ever see again will be with your kids at pre-school and they most likely will be made by Fisher Price." |
