So is the 4K UHDTVs better than a Plasma? I have heard plus and minus and when I'm done its more confusing than ever. I know plasma is on its way out and LCD/LED is the up and coming but I have heard that the UHDTVs suffer from ghosting and stuttering due to their lower refresh rates. Any input from owners? of both types would be greatly appreciated.

Also Happy Thanksgiving.

Actually LCD is on the way out, if not already. LED has replaced them.

Best way to start is to go to a big store and compare the picture quality of all of them.  Then go research the ones you like.  Start with the most important thing.

Good advice.

When you find the ones you like, check Amazon for pricing and if you have Prime........

Actually no, unless your TV is going to sit under 50,000 watts of lighting at your place and every tv in the store is set to the same settings. Better off checking pro reviews and ratings and picking one for your purpose, light controlled dark room, bright room, video games.....
