I think I was watching CBS when the second plane hit... They had somebody on the roof of a near by building doing a live broadcast until the first tower fell. |

Yup, I was watching CNN and I remember that and thinking how incredibly stupid they were to say that it could still be a navigation error.
I had just put my kids on the bus and turned on the TV at around 8:55 AM just before going back to bed (I was up until 4AM playing a flight sim with friends). I stayed up the rest of the day and well into the night with tears in my eyes. |

That is a good idea. I'll 'computerize' my tape that shows footage of both of the aircraft hitting around 10:30-11 am on September 11th, complete with channel timestamp in the corner. That thread was completely ridiculous.
Since no one ever IM'ed me requesting a copy of the tape itself... |

I heard about the first plane, got to a TV and watched the second one hit live, and was alternately on here posting and reading the massive thread on the topic and running back to the TV to see the horrific aftermath. |

Yes, there was. I was watching it, too, on the Today show. Some woman was being interviewed on the street below when she started screaming and the second jet hit. Saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears. |

CORRECT!!!..................NEVER FORGET!!!! And our borders are STILL WIDE OPEN!!!! I kept 2 video recorders going for days and days after 9-11..........I've got a large airtight can filled with 6 hr videotapes. |

Don't think I need to see that, I spent the entire day watching news that day. All classes were canceled at my college about half way through that day, and I hadn't had any to go to before that.
The images of what looked like debris falling out of the towers (what I later was able to see were people jumping when the cameras starting zooming in on them) is still burned in my mind. |
