In 1936 the International Olympic Committee allowed the Nazis to fly their flag over the Olympics carrying it in the pagentry....

That doesn't surprise me at all.

It was held in Germany(Berlin), and in 36 the Nazi's weren't the genocidal freaks they later evolved in to. They were actually fairly impressive. They pulled Germany out of an incredible recession and stabalzed a country in terrible condition.

They offered hope to a nation that was emasculated by the Treaty of Versailles and accomplished exactly what needed to be accomplished with great success against all odds. Why wouldn't they be allowed to fly the Nazi flag in 1936?

totally agree w/M4.  the word "nazi" is actually derived the german phrase "national german worker's party".  it was actually a political party like democraps or republicans (at the start)
