Everyone has at least one: A song or video that was popular when you and the girl/woman you could not live without broke up, a song that will forever remind you of the woman who ripped your heart out of your chest, threw it on the ground, and stomped on it while laughing maniacally.
Ladies, feel free to include the ones that remind you of that lying, cheating man who left you for a skank. Extra points if it was an 80's song. Bitter Heavy Metal songs also are welcome. I'll start: A summertime romance that ended right as the summer of '83 did: The Motels - Suddenly Last Summer She wasn't sure what she wanted to do with her life, but she sure didn't want me in it: Heart - Who Will You Run To? And I should have known better: Richard Marx - Should've Known Better (Official Video) |

I don't have a break up song but this one time me and 3 friends were hanging out in a music store in the mall when one of my friends GFs calls him to break up with him. I swear the second he picked up the phone some R&B song about breaking up came on and me and my other 2 friends lost it. We were crying with laughter because of the timing of it, the one friend on the phone didn't appreciate us laughing our asses off while he was on the phone getting dumped but we couldn't control it.

I was living with this girl and found out she was fucking some dude on the side. My name was on the lease. Well, I took the day off of work and my brother and best friend just boxed up all her shit and put it in the front yard and changed the locks. I sent her a dozen roses at work and had the delivery guy bring a "mix CD" with it. It had "our song" on it, but it was just this song.
Failed To Load Title So she starts calling and calling and calling and then shows up, tried the keys, started banging on the door, the whole nine yards. Cops showed up, she didn't have anything left in the apt that was hers, had no where left to live, and even the cops thought it was cruel how I did it, funny but cruel. I found out from a co-worker that all her female co-workers thought I was so romantic sending her flowers and a mix CD to her work and were aghast when they found out what happened. Fuck her. |

Here's one that reminds me of an especially bitter break up. I went fishing out in the Uintas to get my mind off her, and played this on a continual loop almost the whole time:

Guns N' Roses - Don't Cry |
