What makes this better than an Adams Arms upper which runs about the same money?

How's the support going to be from Taiwan on these uppers? What handguards, charging handles, etc will fit them? Sure, the AA is "commercial" but it's also built around the milspec upper.... this looks interesting, but more SIG 550-ish in that it's not terribly compatible with milspec stuff other than the interface to the lower? |

OK so I just grabbed the one I have laying here Geissele charging handle dropped right in....so charging handles are the same firing pin, cam pin, firing pin retainer and it looks like even a GI bolt would work as well along with using standard bolt parts....... Muzzle has standard threads so you can stuff whatever you want on it....... handguards though are proprietary........ front sight is standard |

somebody in korea should make a k2 style upper that is AR compatible.

No bidding....just one supplier: the 205th Joint service Arsenal with history traces back to the imperial time. There's no incentive to making it cheap for the ROCA. |

Hmm, I'm thinking one of these with a decent muzzle brake and a binary trigger might make for a fun little project.

If I wanted to make a case for it I'd add in it has a cold hammer forged barrel......that is pretty incredible too if you price what a good cold hammer forged AR barrel costs look at what an FN cold hammer forged barrel runs http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/barrel-parts/rifle-barrels/ar-15-m16-5-56x45mm-cold-hammer-forged-barrels-prod71548.aspx so for $599 it seems like a pretty good deal.... |

It is a small piece attached to the side knob for the gas piston. Also, can yo do some detailed photos of it? I'm really excited about this. |

I kinda like the looks of it. Gunwritr, do you have the weight ?

Something I wonder about.
If you mounted this on a lower receiver with a foreign made pistol grip, foreign made stock and an HK steel mag would that constitute a 922r compliance violation? |

I want one to sandblast it, add wood furniture and give it to my daughter
She loves fallout and would finally have a real fallout AR |

Cool, but it looks heavy as heck. Probably pass for that reason.

Excess gas bleeding out near the front site and muzzle most likely. That and a lot of rapid shooting at the demo. I wonder what the barrel life expectancy is? |
