If you brush your teeth properly you can coat your teeth with maple syrup afterwards and it won't do didldly squat. Tooth decay is caused by acids in bacteria poop after that bacteria eats carbs and sugars in your mouth. Those sugars won't harm your teeth at all if there is no bacteria present munching it. If you removed all that bacteria there will be no bacteria poop. So have your whiskey and even a piece of chocolate.
