Gentlemen, this was an enormous victory for antisocialists like ourselves.  This clears the way for judicial nominations friendly to the cause of freedom.

However, do not rest!  Those fine men and women who voted properly this election did not do so considering the gun issue.  Do not be lulled into apathy by thinking this was a referendum on the 2nd ammendment.  It was not!  In my opinion, the victory was due the perceived corruption and incompetence of the Democrats.

The sword of Damocles is still over our heads, it's just not as sharp as it was.  While we probably have headed off any new laws on the federal level, we are unlikely to see a removal of any current ones either.  (The '94 doesn't count as it dies by law, and nobody has to vote on it.)

A big victory has been had, let the judicial nominations begin!  SWEET!

Yes!

I feel great relief that Republicans now hold the majority in the House and Senate, but it is true..

WE CANNOT SIT ON OUR LAURELS and hope everything stays good.  We all should get a list of our representatives, and mail them (not email, although periodic emails can help) with our views and thoughts about our RIGHTS.

Yes, the AW ban will sunset, but we MUST NOT ALLOW it to be replaced by something equal or worse.  Or ANYTHING by that matter.
