I would like to initiate an idea. Suppose we all donate a part or two that we don't need to get Imbroglio a full kit, so that all he has to do is come up with his own registered lower? I'm in for a removable carry handle. We also need a moderator to collect the parts and send them to Imby. The guy has shown dedication to this site that deserves our appreciation.

I'd be willing to donate some newspaper he can roll up in for the park bench at night...

Here's a clue for those in short supply:  His "poor, pitiful me" persona is a character he plays on the internet.  The dude's probably got more guns than six of us put together.

I believe this was done a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly there was a large collection of broken and unusable parts pledged for Imbro to make an ar15 out of.

Post count means nothing, people have been coming here for years. Using different names. I lurked for a long time. So did many others.

I registered in Dec. 2000, about a week before the old board crashed for the last time, lost like 6 posts.

But I lurked for something like 3 yrs before that, from work, natch. [;)]

Grimshaw. I have lurked here for more than a couple of years. My low typing speed keeps my post count low. It is also the reason I did not register until last spring. The people that post on this board has turned over at least a couple of times in the last couple of years. As such, most topics have been covered more than once, including this one. Their are very few names on this board that were here a couple of years ago.
Thanks for the defence operatorerror

People the character of Imbroglio is a fictional person, a shame, a front, a put on, not real, a character!

Does that mean I shouldn't donate a roll of duct tape to hold the Imbro-15 together? [:\]

Yes, some with issues and others with just issues.

So who's looking for a stay at club Talifornia for sending the banned lower receiver into California? Anybody? You'll of course do the transfer though an FFL right [rolleyes]

Seriously, I know Imbrog|io is a character. But, he may well be a person seperate from any other member of this board.

No, Paul, Imbroglio is real. He posted a picture of himself. He'll be getting his own lower. If you have proof of an identity post it.

IT wouldn't be fair to do this for Imbro and not do something for Gecko45. It would be akin to discrimination.

I would agree, but as Mall Security, I have access to more high speed weaponry than you civvies can imagine. I will just hang on to my FN P-90's and PSG-1's, and let you people build your semi guns for Imbrog|io.

1. I am a real entity.

2. Charity is fine, as I still have not found a paying job and my unemployment insurance ran out 2 months ago.

3. The depression thread was factual.

4. I am not sure as to the validity of this, but I have been assured that at the appropriate time I will be issued arms sufficient to the situation.

If this actually gets moving within the next month or so, I have a few parts (heavily used, but I think still usable) to donate.
