This is ridiculous.  Last I heard, home-schooled kids consistently outperformed their government-schooled peers in college entrance exams, and something like 2 of the last 3 winners (I forget the actualy numbers, but it's around there) of the national spelling bee were homeschooled.  Those freakin' 10-year olds can spell words I've never even HEARD of.

Yet the damn government feels the need to go around hassling the homeschoolers.



If I had a cop threaten to break my family up like that I just don't know how I'd react.  This is scary shit.

I feel sorry for you guys in Illinois.  I used to live there, but man... have things gotten worse since I left.

Now you have that socialist anti-gun a$$ clown Rod Blagojevich running things (or soon will have).  Those mid-night raids conducted all over the SUBURBS by the Chicago CAGE teams on unsuspecting gun owners who let their FOID cards expire will become common place.

Forget CCW's... that will NEVER happen now.  And just about anything you do which breaks some trivial gun law (like guns having to be cased and out of the reach of the driver) will result in a felony.  And with that felony you'll never be able to legally own a gun in any state ever again.

I am so glad I fled Illinois to Indiana.  It's a shame that Chicago politics run that whole damn state.  There are some good people down state who get screwed over by the corrupt politics of Chicago.
