I've read about this, I believe that happens every year whether or not humans get involved.

Looks like fun. Probably happens naturally, anyways.

I'd do that just to say I surfed Waimea.

No way I'm surfing it in winter.

And that's just the shorebreak. The big waves are farther out.

Don't know why they'd want to go to Hawaii. They've got beaches just as good or better in Rio.

That little "lagoon" swells into the ocean every year anyway. The 'boarders just expedited the process a titch, to actually gain from it rather than just have it happen randomly one night.

Misleading thread title is misleading.

Exactly what makes you think that any of those people are illegals?

They aren't destroying the environment either. That river is supposed to empty out into the ocean but storms block it off with sand, so every year locals dig a trench and have some fun. A few of the people in that video are professional surfers.

They look like mexicans and probably speak spanish, so they would have to be illegal right?

This. My inlaws have a vacation place on the big island and have a lot of local friends who take us to all the non-touristy areas, and I saw more trash, and disregard for cleanliness then I did where all the tourist were at.
