This writer believes illegal aliens are going to get violent when/if our legislature begins to take legal action against them and the deportations start.......and that state militias (not National Guard) will have to step up to handle the problem. The local police and National Guard will be outnumbered and unable to do the job........click on the link....read it for yourself...

I think I'm angry that these illegals are arrogant enough to run around my country demanding their "rights".  I think they have a right to hit the border running....South....and maybe not get shot on their way out...Its way past time the American people start enforcing our own border security and homeland security. You had best get on the phones to your congress-critters if you want something done.....otherwise, violence is likely coming in the near future....

Just look at the protests they had.
Imagine we started arresting them for felony charges and deporting them. There is absolutely no question in my mind they would start committing terrorism acts in our country. |

Ummm you have all these protests going on... How many of these people are illegal and WHY isnt the INS there? They just interviewed a kid on tv just now that ADMITTED she is not here legally!!! I also LOVE how they are saying that if we stop their way of immigration, home building will cease and the head of lettuce will rise to 5.00 a head.  LOOK. Unless your family tree is 100% American Indian, we ALL have immigration status somewhere in our heritage. I have NO problem with immigration. Just do it legally, pay into the tax system, get health insurance and move on with life. |

Illegals are not our friends and most hate us and the USA. How dare they plant Mexican flags on our soil. We don't need them or what they stand for in our great Country. Make no mistake about it we are at war right now but the bullets just have not started flying yet. I feel we will see a major internal conflict in our Republic over this issue and others with in 5 years or less.

Anyone who says we have to start mass deportations is setting us up (purposely?) for failure. Beware of such people, they don't have your best interests at heart. They want failure so that they can say "See? It didn't work. The only thing left to do is nothing."
Mass Deportation is not the way to solve this problem. Making life as an illegal miserable is. Employers who hire them should be fined into bankruptcy, there should be no driver's licenses for illegals, there should be no credit extended, there should be taxes on wire transfers, Illegals who are caught should forfeit their US-based assets to pay for their deportation, they should receive no welfare or public benefits such as education, etc, etc. In short, make them WANT to leave! |

I don't know that making being illegally in the country a felony is the right answer -- for all sorts of reasons, mostly unintended consequences. What *should* be illegal -- probably a felony -- is employing an illegal immigrant, knowing that they do not have appropriate paperwork. These "employers" do it on purpose, they save on taxes and pay wages which are close to slave labor rates. You know, if a head of lettuce produced by legal employees paid a living wage costs $5, then that is what it costs, and guess what? We might then be better off importing lettuce from Mexico, creating jobs there for these people. No work, no government handouts and no health services (other than absolute emergency -- its not reasonable to deny that to anyone, for any reason) and there is no incentive to come here, or even to stay here. Its the "employers" who need to be felons. |

The proposed legislation does not make illegal immigrants felons. They are subject to deportation, not jail. As YOU propose, so does the House bill, that those who aid and abet illegal immigration are the felons, as well as those who employ them. I'm pretty much agree with that. Just as the war on drugs or the war on guns, the only way to reduce the supply is to eliminat the demand. I'm also curious to see what happens if we just give up. Then they'll all cry about racism and not being paid fairly, they'll want normal wages... and lettuce will go to $5 anyway. |
