...what would be your intro music?
Mine would be "Here to Stay" by Korn. [}:D] |
|
"Three Blind Mice" the background music from the Three Stooges.

Oh God MM, I'd like to see you fight in an arena. All bloody and glistening with sweat......... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....... Redman like sweaty aggressive chicks.
Edited to add: [:X] and [B)] Mine would Bulls on Parade by RATM. I know they are commie/anarchist/socialist/opportunist pukes, but that song is pretty kickin'. |

"Enter Sandman" by Metallica
..and Redmanfms? calm down boy... |

I'd have a group of bagpipers and drummers play "Scotland The Brave" I'm Scotch-Irish[:D]

Quoted: Heck, Master Chai said I should think about fighting and that was after only 5 weeks of training! View Quote Are you paying for the training? Me thinks he might be boosting your self-esteem so that he can keep milking your checkbook [;)]. I'd still like to see you fuck some bitch up though. I'm thinking Sara Magnum v. Sarah Brady. There is absolutely nothing more entertaining than two women beating the shit out of each other (or one just getting beaten). Well...... Sex is pretty entertaining too, but I don't think I'm going to get any of that in the near future, so watching your hot self fuck somebody up will have to suffice. |

Redman,
You sound like you need YOUR ass kicked.... geez! Calm down.... [rolleyes] And Master Chai is internationally respected. He was leading the seminar I went to but I do not have the priviledge of calling him my direct instructor. |

Quoted: How Thai is this training? Besides the leg kicks and kneeing, are you being taught or allowed to use your elbows? View Quote This is traditional Muay Thai. We use knees, elbows, everything... in addition, the school teachs Kali and Jiu Jitsu.... JKD principles. |

"They're coming to take me away" by... ummm.... whoever that was... Who did sing that?
Second choice - "Coma" by G&R. MM, maybe you could have an exhibition fight at the BRC and kick redman's butt... [:D] |

Not to backpeddle (even though I am), you do know I'm just kidding Sara, don't you? |

Unless I am fighting the crippled kid with the oxygen tank, I'm going to loose, so music would be wasted on me.

Would you be fighting strictly Muay Thai or would it be more like a mixed martial arts fight?
Keep us informed ! I would like to see it |

Rob Zombie - Superbeast
I was raised in an arena. I started wrestling in the first grade. Every weekend during season I was at a tournament. And I mean every weekend. I lived like this for 12 years. As I got older, Jr. High I did freestyle wrestling ( Greco Roman Style ). This was during the spring and into the summer. Then a short break for football season and it started all over again. I have a lot of boxes stored back home full of trophies. My parents wanted to keep them, I was just gonna throw them away at one time in my life. It made me the asshole that I am today. |

I would like to see it View Quote They have local amateur events that are mixed form... I'd have an advantage being from a JKD school. I honestly doubt I would tell too many folks if I was going to fight because I would be pretty nervous.... that and the less people that know, the less likely my momma would find out! She told me she doesn't want to know about my training anymore after my nose got bloodied in class. ::sheepish grin:: |

"You could be mine" Terminator 2 GNR
"Who wants to live forever?" Queen "Thunder Struck" AC/DC "Brother in Arms" Dire Straits "Blood Brothers" Bruce Springstein "Murder Inc." Bruce Springstein |

Quoted: So you've availed yourself of the opportunity to learn some ground fighting techniques? View Quote Yeah... I'm taking Jiu Jitsu, too. Unfortunately, I can only make it to one JJ class a week. I'm trying to convince my instructor to start up another one that works with my schedule. [:D] |

Hmmm....
For the name: Get in the Ring by G'n'R For the necessary medical procedure that I would need immediatly afterward: Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue For the the sound: More Human Than Human by White Zombie |
|
"Lunatic Fringe," Red Ryder.
"Bad Company," Bad Company. "The End" the Doors. "Ride of the Valkyries," Wagner. |
|
"Bad Blood" by Ministry.
Unfortunately competition in most amateur sports provides little opportunity for choosing your own fight music to blare over the loudspeakers. |

Bleh TKD
Learn your MT for your stand-up and bone up on the Jiu-Jitsu for your groundwork. You've gotta know ground-work for Mixed Martial Arts. If you ever go against someone with good take-down skills all of your striking is thrown out the door. Learn ground-work and submissions. That with a strong Muay Thai will make you a very formidable opponent. |

Unfortunately competition in most amateur sports provides little opportunity for choosing your own fight music to blare over the loudspeakers. View Quote That's too bad, that's one of the coolest parts of going to the fights. The gym I work out here in Milwaukee organizes pro-KB fights a couple of times a year (lately they've been doing K1 tourneys which are tre freaking COOL!). The amateurs on the undercards from the gym get to pick there own intro music. If I had to choose one song to walk out with, just one, it'd have to be "Milquetoast" by the now unfortunately defunct Helmet. Oh yeah, then there's "Gone Inside the Zero" by Rollins Band. There's not much you can't put your fist through after that song starts. I highly recommend that one. |
|
I like CITADELGRAD87's list, but I'd have to drop Bad Company (maybe) and add "Dogs Of War" by Pink Floyd. Turn it up!
|
|
You better let me know when you fight. I'll take the drive down there to see ya whoop some butt.
Does Chai make you do a Ram Muay? I forget how traditionalist his teachings are. |

I am very into MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). As matter of fact I just came from about 2 hours worth of sparring with several guys. I agree that if you learn some Muay Thai as in good use of knees, elbows, thigh kicks and combine it with Ju Jitsu for the grappling then you will do well. And as for the music it would be along the lines of:
Crue: Kick Start My Heart or Dr. FeelGood The Boss: Born In The USA (I always get amped when I hear it) Metalica: something fast and hard like the Give me Fuel Give Fire Give me double genocide or something like that or something real hard and fast like some old ANTHRAX or something new like Give me something to break or a loud fast Korn song anyways good luck with MMA |
