... cause that's exactly what's going to happen when NYC, Chicago, KC, Dallas, etc. gets hit by a bio, chem or nuclear attack!

A state of emergency will be declared, the area will be deemed uninhabitable, and before too long we will see a repeat of the travesty that's taking place down in NO!

I've said it before but it bears repeating under the circumstances: During times like these, people like to say that this is the begining of the end of our once great Republic. Those folks are wrong... it's actually more like the middle of the end!!!

I'm fucking numb with anger right now...

You can assume it would only happen in that particular city.  The libs would use it as justification to disarm the country but it woulden't fly.

I have a few questions here:

1. Since when is the Chief of Police for New Orleans in command of Oklahoma National Guard troops? Why are they following his orders to confiscate privately owned weapons?

2. Where is the Commander-in-Chief? Didn't we elect his dumb ass because we thought Kerry was going to take our guns? Why isn't Bush doing anything to stop this shit?

3. What happened to posse commitus (or however the fuck you spell it)? I thought it was against federal law to use the military for law enforcement. Don't national guard troops activated in another state fall under the command of the Penatgon?

4. Isn't there something in the oath of enlistment about upholding and defending the constitution from all foes forgien and domestic?

LEOs are making the arrests and doing the confiscating.

Yep.  They would have to suspend posse whatever to use the military to confiscate firearms.  Right now their just patrolling and assisting the LEOs but not making arrests or confiscating.

Don't worry, the city of New Orleans is under martial law. These officers can keep their conscience clear with the fact that the US Constitution doesn't apply there anymore.

The National Guard is doing it too. See the 15 page thread and watch the video. Oklahoma NG units are patroling and confiscating.

Do the NG units overseas get sent by the will of the State or the Fed? Can a State refuse to send trops overseas? If the trops are from other states, are they considered Federal troops?

How does all this workout?

I think the best way to handle this is in court, where it will probably head for an upper court, but SHTF, a major nationwide house to house confiscation would take years, now is the right time to study CACHES

NG troops are under the Governor of the state they're from unless Federalized by order of the Pres.

NG or active troops cannot be used on US for law enforcement unless posse commitatus is suspended by the president.

As previously mentioned, the practice of "stashing" some gear is becoming
more and more realavant, sad but true.  The Government has proven
time and time again that your freedoms do not matter.
We are no longer a Nation whom prides itself on Individualism
and our Individual liberties. LEOs, NG, US Military, etc
will buckle under political pressure to do whatever is necessary
to keep us herded like cattle, and safe from ourselves.
The Golden Age is over boys and girls.....

See, that's the problem.  The sheeple don't see themselves as having "the authority" to do such an unthinkable thing.  We are seeing decades of the socialist Nanny State mentality coming to the forefront.  When things become an "emergency" or "disaster" or "terrorist incident" or whatever the "event of the day" is, it's time to simply bleat and those "In Authority" take over and run your lives.  Those "In Authority" have been convinced and conditioned that ANYTHING can be done under the guise of "It's an emergency" and we're seeing that IN SPADES.

Day and days of video have shown EXACTLY how pervasive that mindset has become.  Pervasive to the point where even self-preservation instincts have been suppressed and those facing IMMINENT DEATH *STILL* simply follow orders to be rounded up and placed in "sheeple containment zones".  It's just like those films we've seen during wars where people about to be executed dig their own graves and quietly kneel to be shot in the back of the head, never ONCE even offering the slightest bit of resistance.

I'm getting as far away from urban Amerika as I possibly can.  I will be DAMNED if I WILLINGLY put myself in a situation where my choices are limited to becoming totally subservient to Government when anything goes wrong or standing my ground and possibly dying for it.  What's happening in NOLA proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that when things get rough anything remotely regarding civil liberties and CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS will be cast aside in a heartbeat.

Proof that a defensive strategy will never work.
I hope none of you actually thought that. You think those guys in the video ever said, "If they come to get my guns, they can have them!" Hell no, but when you look out your window and see 25 armed soldiers, your will to defend the Constitution gets a kick in the nuts I'm sure.

I mean, it's fun to say "tragic boating accident", and "If they knock on my door"

The truth is, if you have waited to this point, you aren't going to do a damn thing, and if you do, regardless of how big a fight you put up, you will eventually be killed.

We need to get to know each other a little better

The video puts a sick feeling in my stomach.

how can they take the peoples weapons but allow them to stay.   nice...that is 100% wrong
the place is a disaster area yes, so get the fuck out till it's pumped out, but leave them their weapons.

can't say I'll feel sorry for a "confiscator"  when someone votes from the rooftops
