Let the message play on to the end. If it is a person, engage them in conversation. keep them on the phone, whether machine or human.

You know they're not affecting your vote, but if you disconnect them, the next person they reach might be swayed to their side.

I actually had an elderly lady call me today in person and I told I could not vote for communism or the democrats as they were one and the same. A real pleasure to forcefully tell her that I "WILL NOT SUPPORT THE DEMOCRATS IN ANY WAY." It kinda surprised her and was a great release for me!
