Hey guys and gals, as you may be aware House Bill S. 397 is set to go to the Senate for debate at any time.  This bill, if passed would protect the firearms industry from baseless lawsuits.  

If you would please take the time to email, call, or write your US Senators.  I will copy and paste the email I sent to mine....it's short and to the point.  Feel free to copy and past it to your email account and hit send.

Greetings from a fellow Hoosier!  As a gun owner and avid supporter of the
Second Amendment, I am writing to you in regard to S.397.  I'm sure you are
aware that the overwhelming majority of Hoosiers are responsible firearms
owners who take great pride in gun ownership, one of oldest heritages of our
country.

I urge you to cosponsor and support S.397 and join the over 50 other U.S.
Senators who are already cosponsoring this critical bill which protects the
rights of law-abiding gun owners and sportsmen.  

I feel like anti-gun politicians and greedy trial lawyers have teamed up to
destroy the Second Amendment through the courts, by filing baseless lawsuits
that attempt to hold America's firearms industry responsible for the acts of
criminals.
