"Most gun-rights activists describe a world of tremendous dangers,” Weinstein said. "Guns, they repeatedly tell us, are the only thing between home invasion, rape, murder, and government intrusion. Okay, well if that’s true, then we bystanders should be equally afraid, and react instantaneously to keep away the chaos and the violence. We learned to be afraid from the gun-rights supporters. They have gotten everything they wanted.” This guy is so off and stupid he makes Obama look smart. |
|
"[G]un rights activists do not have a history of institutional discrimination,” Weinstein continued. "They do not have a history of being denied the right to marry, the right to go to school, being denied the right to vote. They haven’t been slaves. They weren’t subject to the Holocaust. They haven’t been beaten in the streets.” View Quote Yep, there's a reason for that. |

So I go in a restaurant and the liberals leave? That is a win... they don't pay the bill? they get arrested, they go to jail.... another win

I cant say for sure that we do not have some alive still who believe in the right to defend oneself. Is he saying that Jews who are gun rights activists have no history of holocaust? That descendants of slaves who are gun rights advocates have no history of slavery? No person who believes in their 2nd amendment rights belongs to a group who has a history of any of these things? BULLSHIT If he is applying this standard to them because they have not personally lived it, that goes for most if not all other groups too, anyone in the NAACP been a slave? No We can say that denying of gun rights or acting against a persons 2nd amendment rights/gun rights was a part of institutionalized discrimination. |

A philosophy professor? Oh, you people are just too stupid and racist to understand his brilliance. It's probably due to all of the bible-thumping, racism, and snake waving. His sheer brilliance is very nuanced. If you disagree with him you are proving that conservatives hate education, science, are racist and you make all of us look bad.

But I just read an hour ago that restaurants should be able to charge customers whatever they want to make political statements. I'm confused now.
If people are scaring away customers why shouldn't those people pick up the table for the business' lost revenue? If you don't like it, you don't have to go to that restaurant again, and you can badmouth them all over Yelp, too. Just pray they don't sue you for defamation. |

The fact that it became law meant you didn't fight hard enough or didn't care. The Jews were being upstanding citizens following the laws of their land, just like the PA woman should have done when she visited NJ. |
