"Most gun-rights activists describe a world of tremendous dangers,” Weinstein said. "Guns, they repeatedly tell us, are the only thing between home invasion, rape, murder, and government intrusion. Okay, well if that’s true, then we bystanders should be equally afraid, and react instantaneously to keep away the chaos and the violence. We learned to be afraid from the gun-rights supporters. They have gotten everything they wanted.”

This guy is so off and stupid he makes Obama look smart.

"[G]un rights activists do not have a history of institutional discrimination,” Weinstein continued. "They do not have a history of being denied the right to marry, the right to go to school, being denied the right to vote. They haven’t been slaves. They weren’t subject to the Holocaust. They haven’t been beaten in the streets.”

the reason is its a lot of nonsense...

No shit they havent been slaves, nobody is that old, Holocaust victims.. I cant say for sure that we do not have some alive still who believe in the right to defend oneself.

Is he saying that Jews who are gun rights activists have no history of holocaust?

That descendants of slaves who are gun rights advocates have no history of slavery?

No person who believes in their 2nd amendment rights belongs to a group who has a history of any of these things? BULLSHIT

If he is applying this standard to them because they have not personally lived it, that goes for most if not all other groups too, anyone in the NAACP been a slave? No

We can say that denying of gun rights or acting against a persons 2nd amendment rights/gun rights was a part of institutionalized discrimination.

But I just read an hour ago that restaurants should be able to charge customers whatever they want to make political statements. I'm confused now.

If people are scaring away customers why shouldn't those people pick up the table for the business' lost revenue?

If you don't like it, you don't have to go to that restaurant again, and you can badmouth them all over Yelp, too. Just pray they don't sue you for defamation.

I support open carry I do myself when hiking, camping, hunting or working on my property. I have even open carried into town while in conjunction with said activities. In no way do I support the the idiotic post above and I support that right 100%. According to some people, you should always follow the law. The fact that it became law meant you didn't fight hard enough or didn't care. The Jews were being upstanding citizens following the laws of their land, just like the PA woman should have done when she visited NJ.

Blue: I don't have a link handy, but we had a speaker at a gun rights rally that was a college student at Tenement Square. I'm not exactly sure how China handled elections back when they were busy driving over unarmed civilians with tanks, but I doubt his vote counted for much until he escaped to the US.

If they don't like it they have every right to trespass a person and they have to leave, they however don't have the right to charge someone for a service they didn't receive.
